Goda gärningar är nödvändigtvis inte samma sak i en muslimsk kontext som i en kristen, buddistisk eller sekulär humanistiskt präglad miljö. Att göra goda gärningar är för den troende muslimer att göra vad gud föreskriver. Och Allah föreskriver ju som bekant krig mot alla världens icke-muslimer. Ett krig för att främja islam, som kan föras/bidras till på många olika sätt.
"Striden mot dem, som ej tro på Gud och den yttersta dagen, ej helighålla vad Gud och hans apostel förklarat heligt och ej bekänna sanningens religion, dem, som fått skriften, nämligen, tills de villigt giva skatt och ödmjuka sig!" (sura 9:29)
"Allah's Apostle said, 'I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.'" (Sahih Bukhari 8:387)
"Sincelawful warfare is essentially jihad and since its aim is that the religion is Gods´s entirely and God´s word is uppermost, therefore according to all Muslims, those who stand in the way of this aim must be fought..." citat: Ibn Taymiyyah, jurist av Hanbaliskolan.
"Jihad is of various kinds, with one´s self, one's wealth, by making du`a´, by teaching and guiding, by helping to do good in any way. The greatest form of jihad is jihad with one´s self (i.e., going oneself and fighting), followed by jihad with one's wealth, jihad by speaking out and guiding others. Da`wah is also part of jihad. But going out oneself to fight in jihad is the highest form." (Fatawa ash-Sheikh Ibn Baz,7/334,335) , " ... All Muslims are enjoined to support their brothers with their selves (i.e., physically, by joining them), or with money, weapons, da`wah and advice."

Även almosor (zakat) får användas till att finansiera jihad.
"... it is undoubtedly a case of Jihad for the sake of Allah. It thus needs to be financed from the money of Zakah, the amount of which is to be decided based on the total sum of the charity, the requirements of Jihad as well as the degree of the need of other potential recipients of charity. This is all to be decided by reliable scholars, if they are to be found".

I biblen står det att man ska stena människor? Varför inte plocka det värsta ur denna heliga bok och sen dra slutsatsen att kristendomen är farlig. Eller ska vi kanske säga att ALLA katolska präster är katoliker. Nej, just det, det är ju ingen intellektuell syn att att se på saken. OM MAN INTE ÄR TOTALT JÄVLA INTOLERANT OCH INSKTÄNKT. Skäms. Ledsen för din skull att tänkandet inte går längre.
